Why I built this site

I have had chronic rhinitis for years. I tried nasal sprays. I tried steroids. I had sinus surgery. None of it fixed the problem.

So I did what a frustrated patient does late at night. I opened PubMed and started reading.

The research is there. It is just written for people who already know what post-viral dysbiosis means. Almost none of it reaches the people who are actually sick.

This site is my translation of it.

Each page covers one strain, not one species. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 are the same species and they do different things in the body. Product labels almost never tell you which strain you are buying.

Every claim links to a PubMed ID you can look up yourself. I did not invent any of them. Where the evidence is thin, the page says the evidence is thin. Each strain carries an evidence score from 1 to 5 so you can see how much weight the research actually holds.

I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. It is the published literature, in the plain language I wanted when I was searching for answers.
